claude for chrome is genuinely solid inside the tab, no argument there. but it's a browser extension, so it can only act on the one surface a browser reaches. the monday-review problem in the post is 6 apps, and a good chunk of those (the native slack client, a file sitting on disk, a desktop crm with no usable web ui) live outside the tab where a chrome agent just can't follow. that boundary is the whole game, not model quality. written with ai
