Curious if there are upcoming releases for Gemini CLI. In my tests it’s excellent at whole-repo analysis and strategy, but it often stumbles in execution (tools break and it loops).
Are any major releases planned? What kind, and on what timeline?
And will there be multi-agent support?

Honestly, I think it was probably a few users abusing the system like crazy. I've been building with Gemini CLI the past few days and had an increasing amount of issues getting a request through.
The GH issue trackers were full of people bitching and moaning about it. I think it might be a worse thing to alienate your users who use your product in the intended way - through Google's tooling.
But I agree the 0 strike rule seems really excessive.
It is also a possible scenario that a single individual sets up 10+ AI Pro subscriptions to blast through tokens like crazy - not sure how the economics of the daily allowances compare to the API pricing here.
It's easy to miss, but in the middle of the page:

Seems gemini-cli and gemini-cli didn't understand who themselves were, so they though someone else added/removed the label, which it tried to correct, which the other then tried to correct, which the other...
Considering that that repository has what seems like ~10 longer term contributors, who probably get email notifications, together with a bunch of other people who get notifications about it, wonder how many emails were sent out because of this? If we just assume ten people get the emails, it's already 46K emails going out in under 24 hours...
Also, who pays for the inference of this gemini-cli? Clicking the "user" links to https://github.com/apps/gemini-cli, and it has a random GitHub user under "Developer", doesn't seem like it's a official Google project, so did someone pay for all of these inference calls here? That'd be a pretty sucky bill to pay
I don't want to use a full AI IDE, I've been using Gemini CLI a lot and it works better for my workflows to bring my own IDE and use Gemini CLI alongside it. My assumption is others are having annoyances for the same reason.
